Jessica Gonacha's work makes me smile. Not only does she have a great sense of color, design and composition, but each one of her paintings seems to tell a story. I think of them as snapshots taken from the middle of a narrative. The specifics of the story are up to us. Jessica graduated with a BFA at Ithaca College in 2002 and has been exhibiting her work ever since. In addition to several shows last year her work was included in SOFA Chicago.
